Rutha Sipple Kennedy

Rutha Sipple Kennedy, age 91 of Roanoke died Tuesday, June 8, 2010. She was born March 2, 1919 a daughter of the late Sid and Nora Staten Sipple. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kennedy, Sr.; and two sons, Benny and Bill Kennedy. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Frank, Jr. and Joanne Kennedy, Roanoke; daughter, Sue King, Pinehurst, NC; grandson, Jeffrey and Tammy Kennedy, Hartford, Wisconsin; granddaughter, Teresa and Jeff Van Buren, Clermont, Florida; two great-grandchildren, Quinn and Cara Kennedy. Funeral services will be conducted from Pentecostal Church of God, Beech Creek, West Virginia 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 with Rev. J.D. Mahon officiating. Interment will follow in the Kennedy Family Cemetery at the church.
