Sandra Thomas Williams

Sandra Kay Thomas Williams, 65, of Ferrum, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013. She was born April 25, 1948 the daughter of the late Vestel Thomas and Louella Stone Thomas. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Thomas Naff and a brother, Larry Thomas. Surviving are her husband, James B. (Jimmy) Williams of Ferrum; daughter, Angela Bowman and husband, Dan, of Rocky Mount; son, James Brandon Williams and Brenda Parker of Bassett; four grandchildren, Jacob Tanner, Evelyn Bowman, Jeremiah Williams, Isaiah Parker; three sisters, Barbara Tatum and husband, J.D. of Henry, Carol Garlick and husband, Chester of Henry, Pat Turner and husband, Mike of Ferrum; brother, Steve Thomas and wife, Kaye of Henry; lots of nieces and nephews; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Brian Goard, Rev. Michael Magnani and Rev. Steve Tilley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
