Scott Hodges age 43 of Ferrum passed away too young on Friday, October 26, 2018 at his home leaving so many in mourning. He was quick to help anyone in need and could do just about anything. He loved hunting and he spent countless hours in the woods doing what he loved. He was the life of the party and so many people loved hanging out with him as he was a people person that will be missed by everyone.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Phillip B. Hodges; his second mom, Ann Holland; grandparents, Garnett and Eunice Yopp, Newton and Sue Emma Hodges; several other aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mom, Patty Hodges; his fiancée, Lindsay; ALL of his Lynchburg family. He is also survived by his second dad, Walter Holland; special little fur baby, Max; special friends, Todd Cox, Brian Arrington, Jason Boyd, and a very close friend and mentor, Chuck Tempe. Scott is also survived by a special someone that is very close to him known as Little Munchkin (Anna Cooper). In addition to the ones listed above, he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Dr. William R. Shively officiating with comments by Mr. Chuck Tempe and Mr. Todd Cox. Interment will follow in the Hodges Family Cemetery on North Main Street. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 30th from 6 to 9 p.m.
