Sharon Ann Gammons

Sharon Ann Gammons, age 74 of Rocky Mount passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016. She was born on August 11, 1942 a daughter of the late Randolph and Anna Dmytrich Seals. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lester Gammons. Mrs. Gammons was a faithful and devoted member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Lesley Hall (Steve) and Jennifer Young (Randy); four grandchildren, Kelsey Hall, Colby Hall, Jordan Young and Zachary Young; brother, Tom Seals (Joyce); nephew, Peter Seals (Susan); niece, Anne Seals (Dani) She is also survived by her stepchildren, Dave Gammons (Jane), Steve Gammons (Sharon) and Joyce McGrath (Leo); many other extended family members, friends and her church family at Flint Hill United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flint Hill United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, c/o Emily Smith, 2536 Booker T. Washington Highway, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2016 from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug R. Sasser officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
