Sharon Elaine Perdue Hernandez age 57 of Rocky Mount passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at her home with her family by her side.
Sharon served our great country for ten years having served in the U.S. Army. After her discharge from the Army, she became a licensed CNA and later on a cosmetologist. She was truly a lover of the outdoors and her passion in life was spending time with her family and friends especially her granddaughter, Aria. A loving person that will be missed by all.
Sharon was born on November 10, 1960 a daughter of Shelby Perdue-Sink and step-father, Jimmie Sink, and the late Ralph Perdue; brothers, Steve (Cindy), Brian (Cindy) and Kenny (Jackie); sisters, Lisa, Carol (Kevin) and Brenda; her husband, Alfredo Hernandez and family; son, Douglas Lynch (Samantha); her granddaughter, the light of her life, Aria Lynch.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark White officiating. There will be NO public visitation.
