Shelby Turner Ayers

Shelby Turner Ayers, age 71, of Wirtz, VA passed away Monday, February 23, 2015. She was born May 18, 1943. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd R. (Butch) Ayers, Jr. and her father, Curtis A. Turner. Surviving are her son, Randy Ayers; grandson, Joshua Ayers; granddaughter, Makayla Ayers; mother, Eula Arrington Turner; three sisters, Phyliss Davis (Donnie), Frances Pruitt (Wayne), Judy Pruitt; brother, Eugene Turner (Ellen); special cousin, Lena Hodges; several nieces and nephews. Due to the scheduled inclement weather forecast, Graveside services will now be conducted 3:00 P.M. Friday at the Arrington Family Cemetery with Rev. Denver Turner and Rev. Rick Barton officiating.
