Sherry Ann Thompson

Sherry Ann Thompson, age 64, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. She was born December 22, 1952 the daughter of the late William Warren Shauer and Doris Ann Jefferson Shauer. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jerrita Ann Thompson. Surviving are her husband, Emmett Thompson; son, Donald Wayne “Dooley” Thompson (Lorrie); two grandchildren, Chase Lambert, Bryce Wyatt; two sisters, Merry Carroll (Garnett), Terry L. Hodges (Kenneth); brother-in-law, Charles Thompson (Nancy); four nephews, Travis Beard (Angela), Timothy Beard, J. C. Stone, III (Tara), John T. Stone (Jessica); special friends, Donna Wilkes (Carlton), Ellen Turner, Donna English, Sherry Smith; numerous other family and friends. Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren with Pastor Ronald Coleman and Garnett Carroll officiating.
