Shirley Mae Holland

Shirley Mae Holland, 82, of Wirtz, went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday June 16, 2018, after a battle with cancer. She was a daughter of the late John & Zeddie Hudson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior “Pete” Holland; brother Randolph Hudson; brother in law, Roy Dillon. Shirley is survived by a special sister, Magdalene “Maggie” Dillon; brother in law, Lewis Holland; stepson, Bobby Holland; step grandson, Greg Holland (Amanda); step great-grandson, Fynlee Holland; nephews, Todd Dillon (Debbie), Tony Dillon, Earl Hudson (Debbie); niece Dorenda Young (Leon). She was of Baptist Faith and attended Woodlawn Baptist Church as her health permitted, and loved her church family. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday June 18, 2018, @ 2:00pm, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Route 220 @ Wirtz Rd) Rocky Mount, VA 24151, with Rev. Eddie Hawks & Rev. David Burgess officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
