Shirley Dalton Sink

Shirley Ann Dalton Sink, age 71 of Rocky Mount, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013. She was born August 13, 1942 to the late Robert M. Dalton and Betsy Mildred Amos Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew H. "jiggs" Sink and her two sisters Betty Mae Dalton and Mildred Dalton. Shirley enjoyed cooking and was a very loving and caring person who loved her family. Surviving are her children Cecil Wayne Sink of Rocky Gap, Bryan Keith Sink of Callaway, Mildred Ann Sink of Williamsburg, and Marsha Eileen Kornegay and husband Robert of Rocky Mount; grandchildren Jordan Isaiah Sink, Nicholas Coleman Sink, and Alys Nicole Sink; brother Robert Lee Dalton; nephews Greg and Steve Dalton; very special friend Minnie Hall Galyean and family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local National Kidney Foundation, 1622 East Parham Road Richmond, VA 23228. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home 11am Tuesday with Pastor Sharon Hartman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Clearview Cemetery.
