Shirley Ann Thurman Wright

Shirley Ann Thurman Wright, age 70 of Rocky Mount died Friday, November 26, 2010. She was born September 8, 1940 a daughter of the late Earl B. and Myrtle Foley Thurman. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Billy Thurman; and a sister, Jean Carter. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Charles D. Wright, Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy Lee and Melanie Wright, Charles D., Jr. (Danny) and Linda Wright, Robert Lewis and Tonia Wright, Steven Mark and Sonia Wright; three grandchildren, Timothy, Joshua and Kristin Wright; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Jesse, Buddy, Milford and Howard Thurman; sisters, Marie Mullins and Joneda Roberson; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 3 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 with Rev. Michael Lawhorn officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
