Steve Yopp

Stephen Robert (Steve) Yopp, age 51 of Boones Mill died tragically on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 due to being struck by a motor vehicle while assisting someone on the roadside. Steve was born on December 7, 1965 in Franklin County where he lived all of his life. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Yopp. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Kathy Stump Yopp; his children, Michael Yopp (Rebecca) and Brittany Yopp (Scottie); five grandchildren, Julianna Yopp, Zachary Yopp, Rihanna Yopp, Branson Yopp and Wyatt Booth; his mother, Martha Yopp; brothers, Rickie Yopp (Donna) and Teddy Yopp (Suzanne); sisters, Debra Brown (Perry) and Pamela Hicks (Richard); several nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him as a brother. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the family to help with expenses. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Bethlehem Church of the Brethren with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Yopp Family Cemetery.
