Ted Dillon Jarrett

Ted Dillon Jarrett, 87, of Franklin County passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. He was born November 22, 1931 the son of the late Everett L. Jarrett and Jennie Dillon Jarrett. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Edith Furrow Jarrett; daughter, Donna J. Petty; two granddaughters; several siblings; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dara and Gertrude Furrow. Ted served in the U. S. Army from July 1950 until April 1954, he was Honorably Discharged with the rank of Corporal. He is survived by a son, Ted (Buddy) Jarrett, Jr. (Julia); three granddaughters, Jennie Rae Petty, Summer Jarrett, Ella Dawn Jarrett; sister, Ruth Clarke; several nieces and nephews; one cousin. We want to extend a special “Thanks” to Rocky Mount Health and Rehab where Ted resided since April 2014. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M.
