Tennis Sink

Tennis "Hurd" Sink, age 91, of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012. He was born December 5, 1920 the son of the late Anthony Sink and Ella Crook Sink. He was also preceded in death by a brother, George L. Sink and two sisters, Estelle Austin and Rena Lamkin. He worked for many years in the Logging and Sawmill Business.Surviving are his devoted niece, Elsie Sink and her special friend, Gary Starkey; sister, Ruby Sigmon and her husband, Herman of Rocky Mount; other nieces, nephews and friends; special neighbor, Corena Hairston. Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
