Thomas Everette Perdue, age 77, of Rocky Mount, VA was blessed with his angel wings and dancing shoes as he join his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 19, 2017. He was born December 14, 1939 the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Perdue and Nellie Eva Cundiff Perdue. He was preceded by his sister, Margaret Perdue. He retired from M&W Windows after many years of service. Thomas was an avid bluegrass music lover who really enjoyed playing the guitar and loved dancing. Surviving are son, Michael Perdue and wife, Pam; daughter, Tammy Franklin and husband, Eddie; four grandchildren, Jessica Guilliams and husband, Joel, Jesse Franklin, Jazmyn Franklin, Travis Perdue; his girlfriend who was the love of his life, Linda Beheler Rhodes; brother, Russell Perdue and wife, Janice. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M Sunday at Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, 8 West Mountain ICU for their kindness and care.
