Thomas "Tommy" Allen Doss

Thomas "Tommy" Allen Doss age 73 of Roanoke and formerly of Martinsville passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at his home. He was born March 17, 1951 a son of the late Drury and Elizabeth Doss. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, David Doss and Jerry Doss.

Tommy graduated from Martinsville High School and retired with Norfolk & Western Railroad having worked from 1972 - 2019. He started working for the railroad when it was Norfolk & Southern and worked his way up to Conductor, a job he really loved. His passion was anything to do with street rods as he was a member of the Street Rod Association, and he was also a member of First Baptist Church in Martinsville.

He is survived by his daughter, Terri Clark-Joseph (Justin); grandchildren, Tyler Parcell (Courtney), Taylor Parcell, and Zoie Wells (Colin); his great-grandchildren, Emma Fields, Aynzlea Parcell, Coleman Parcell, Benny Parcell, Weston Kenee and Paiton Kenee; niece, Karen L. Doss; great-nieces, Sasha Shaw (Griffin) and their son, Thomas; Mara Anderson (Ryan) and their daughter, Sophie; and Isabeau Humble; nephews, James D. Doss (Penny), and Jonathan D. Doss (Julie).

There will not be a service for Tommy however on Saturday, March 22nd at 1:00 PM friends and family will be welcome at Jay's home, 237 Ridge Road, Collinsville, VA to gather in memory of Tommy.
