Tillie R. Dent

Tillie R. Dent, age 84 of Glade Hill, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011. She was born March 26, 1928 to the late Willie and Ima Robertson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William “Pete” Dent; daughter Rita Dent; sons Ronnie W. and Ricky L. Dent; and sister Ernestine Lynch. Surviving are sons Rodney E. Dent (Kim), Sam Dent; daughter Tammy Davis (Jim); grandchildren Tabitha Richards (James), Tiffany Dent, Mindy Dent and Penny Davis; two great-grandchildren Tanner Richards and Logan Dent; brothers David Robertson and Jessie Robertson; sister Nancy Perdue; numerous other family and friends. Flowers will be accepted or donations be made to Glade Hill Rescue Squad. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel, 2 p.m. Tuesday with Dr. Jackie Spence and Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Dent Family Cemetery. Her family will be receiving friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and other times at the Dent home, 244 Farmview Rd., Glade Hill.
