Timothy Leroy Meece

Timothy Leroy Meece, age 52, of Wirtz, VA passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. He was born in North Carolina on October 18, 1962. Surviving are his wife, Lynn Sartell Meece; seven children, Timothy Meece and wife, Amber, Megan Meece, Jessica Biggs and husband, Matthew, Tiffany Meece, Jason Murphy and wife, Mendip, Ryan Sartell, Amanda Sartell; grandchildren, Maya Murphy, Aryia Murphy, Neal Murphy, baby Biggs on the way; father and mother, Arvel Leonard Meece and Edith Gregg Meece; brothers and sisters, Barbara Eason and husband, Steve, Glenna Howell and husband, John, Terry Meece and wife, Michele, Kathy Lashley and husband, Thomas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. The family would like to say a “SPECIAL THANK YOU” to the doctors, nurses and staff at Blue Ridge Cancer Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Cokendolpher officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. before the service starts.
