Valorine Thompson

Valorine Crawford Thompson, age 86 of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born March 14, 1926 to the late Orgie Crawford and Elizabeth Skeens Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Edward Crawford; half brother George (Bobby) Stalnaker, Jr.; and uncle Lacy B Crawford. Surviving are her half sister Lera Robertson; sister in law Claudine Crawford; nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice in Valorine Thompson’s name. Graveside services will be conducted from Holston View Cemetery, South Weber City, VA 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
