Vernie Louise Holland

Vernie Louise Divers Holland, age 71, of Wirtz, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012. She was born September 20, 1940 to the late Ralph and Izora Divers. Mrs Holland was also preceded in death by three brothers, Stelford (Stiff), Wade, and Nolan Divers. She is survived by her loving Husband Raymond (Buck) Holland, Jr.; Sons, Roger Manning and Jeff Manning (Wanda) of Glade Hill; a Grandson, J. W. Manning and Fiancée Sara Handy; Sister, Gaynell Hulser of Lynchburg, VA; Brother, Gerry Divers (Faye) of Glade Hill; Mother-In-Law, Nancy Holland of Wirtz; Sisters-In-Law Betty Jean Divers, Wirtz, Betty Manning (Doug) Rocky Mount, Vickie Hodges, Wirtz, and Peggy Greer (Tony), Hardy; Brothers-In-Law, Jimmy Holland (Sharon), Wirtz, William Holland (Tammy), Hardy, Jake Holland, Wirtz, and Dennis Holland (Brenda), Wirtz; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. My many thanks to the Hospice Nurses, Jan, Karen, Kitty, and Dena; Blue Ridge Cancer Center; Dr. Schertz and Staff, Dr. Thelan; and all my friends and family. My special thanks to my Pastor Melvin and the Church Family. Funeral Services will be conducted from Hales Ford Baptist Church, 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012 with Pastor Melvin Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Divers Family Cemetery.
