Vieva Peters Dickerson

Vieva Peters Dickerson, age 73, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was born May 30, 1942 the daughter of the late Leland “Doc” Peters and Cora Belle Hale Peters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raz Dickerson and her son, Steve Compton. She is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Eanes (Steve) of Ridgeway, VA, Sherry Catron (David) of Bassett, VA; five grandchildren, Bryan, Hannah, David, Danny, Tonya; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Roxie Nichols (Jessie) of Henry, VA, Goldie Hughes of Rocky Mount, VA, Judy Peters (Kenneth) of Ferrum, VA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. before the service starts at the funeral home.
