Violet Lora Sigmon Stanley

Violet Lora Sigmon Stanley age 82 of Roanoke passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at her home. She was born on November 23, 1935, a daughter of the late Lee and Mary Sigmon and was also preceded in death by her former husband and friend, Glenn Stanley; and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Wayne Stanley (Tammy O’Conner), Robert Stanley (Janet Persinger), Jeffrey Stanley and Donald Stanley; daughter, Reba Ball (Freeland Ball III); two granddaughters, Priscilla Bell and Amanda Marie Ball Robinson (Jon); one great-grandson, Bradley Alexander Robinson. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Franklin Memorial Park with Chaplain Seth McCormick officiating. There will not be a visitation.
