Wilbur Loren Allen

Wilbur Loren Allen, Sr 90, formerly of Louisville died Sunday September 18, 2011 at his home in Moneta, VA. He was a decorated U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired employee of Ashland Oil. He is preceded in death by his wife Christine; sons, David, Steven and Bruce; and daughter, Catherine. He is survived by three sons, Wilbur, Jr (Ruth) of Lawrenceburg, KY; Daniel (Carlotta) of Troutville, VA; and Timothy, Sr. of Louisville, KY; and a daughter Joan Webb (Raymond) of Colesburg, KY; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Burial and a graveside service will be held at 12:30PM on Friday September 23, 2011 at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
