Willard Douglas Bernard

Willard D. “Billy” Bernard, age 74 of Callaway and Lynchburg passed away Monday, February 6, 2012. He was born August 11, 1937 to the late Willard H. and Casey Jones Bernard. He was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church in Callaway and loved Bluegrass music and dancing. Mr. Bernard is survived by his loving wife, Betty Keys Bernard; children, Jeffrey L. Bernard (Danene), Lisa B. Willie, Phillip Keys, Debbie Smith (Kenneth), and Doris Edwards (Sonny); grandchildren, Josh Bernard, Deanna Bernard, Adam and Emily Willie, Jennifer Elliott, Jake and Josh Edwards and Haley Keys; Brother Ronnie Bernard (Sue); Sisters, Mary Francis Guilliams (James), Verna Sue Gravely, Shelby Nemeth, and Patricia Custer (Jerry); numerous nieces and nephews; One Fat Cat, Nick; Two Rotten Maltese, Joy and J.J. Funeral Services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2012 with The Rev. John Heck officiating.
