William Jennings Bryant Hitt

William Jennings Bryant Hitt, age 55 of Vinton died Monday, May 17, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents James E., Sr. and Helen Glasscock Hitt. Surviving are his wife, Kathy A. Hitt; son, Joseph A. Hitt, both of Vinton; daughter and son-in-law, Melisa A. and Robbie Farthing, Roanoke; three grandchildren, Joseph Hitt, Jr., Gavin Hitt and Charlie Farthing; brothers, James Hitt, Jr., Shirley Hitt; sisters Doris Houghton and Mary Woody; several other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010 with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery.
