William Nelson Dillon

William Nelson Dillon, age 79, of Rocky Mount, went to be with the Heavenly Father above on Friday, April 5, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents John T. & Hettie Mary Dillon, his loving wife Geraldine Dillon; seven brothers, one sister and one great-grandson. He is survived by two sons Nelson Ray (Turtle) Dillon of Crewe, Va., and William Keith (Jenny) Dillon of Burkeville, Va., three daughters Catherine (Dean) Wilborn of Crewe, Va., Angela Darlene (Paul) Sadler of Burkeville, Va. and Jennifer (Garrie) Preston of Rocky Mount, Va.; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are one sister Sally Wilson of Rocky Mount, VA., and two brothers Junior Dillon of Richmond, Va., Jimmy (Evonne) Dillon of Rocky Mount, Va.; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, April 8, 2013 at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Chapel with the Elder Michael Preston officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Park. His family will be receiving friends Sunday, April 7, 2013, 6-8 p.m. at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, Rocky Mount. (540)483-5533
