William Carlton Hill (Pop), age 81 of Roanoke passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Lewis-Gale Medical Center. He was a US Army Veteran and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Sadie Hubbard Hill; brother, Calvin; and sisters, Hazel, Ernestine, Josephine, and Doris.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Peggy Brammer Hill; daughter, Kimberly Brooks of Richmond; adopted son, Alec Dobson; grandchildren, Tyler Brooks and Aaron Brooks; and many other family members and friends.
Graveside services with military honors will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016.
