William Wallace Moatz

On June 21, 2020, Wallace William (Bill) Moatz Jr., 72, of Boones Mill, Virginia was called home to our Heavenly Father for Fathers Day. He was a child of God, father, husband, brother, and friend. Bill was loved by many people. He was a man of many hobbies including grapes, gem mining, honey bees, amateur herbalist, handyman, and amateur clock-smith. Bill was a member of the Mason's, received honorable discharge from the United States Navy as well as the Army Reserves. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace William Moatz Sr. and his mother, Peggy Jane Barber Moatz. He is survived by his, wife, Norma Jeanne Kinsey Moatz his sister Myra Leigh Moatz Worley his son, Wallace William (Will) Moatz III and his wife, Morgan Moatz, and Daughter, Kimberly Rose Moatz Lynch and her husband Krystofer Lynch. Also his beloved grandchildren Cayden Cash, Wallace William (Bay) Moatz IV, and Chandler Ray Lynch. Loyal and faithful companion Alice Mae. He will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery. No services will be held at this time. Celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.
