William James Wethington

William J. “Pops” Wethington, Sr., age 67 of Sandy Level died Monday, August 8, 2011. He was born May 11, 1944, a son of the late Glenn and Helen Self Wethington. Mr. Wethington was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish, and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. He was a retired truck driver and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his loving wife Betty Jane Wethington; son William J. “Pete” Wethington, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law Mitchell & Susie Wethington; Granddaughters Lori Rochelle Wethington, Jamie Lynette Wethington, Sherry Louise Fain, Kaylee Noelle Wethington, Alaura Dannon Wethington, Megan Elizabeth Wethington, & Morgan Carolann Wethington; Great-Grandchildren Jeffrey Allen Fain, Jr., Andrew Glenn Fain, Alexis Faye Fain, Kylea Mayree Mize, Henry Joseph Ostendorf; Sister & Brother-In-Law Susan and Charles Crider of Ohio; Sisters-In-Law Mildred & Johnny Wright, Helen & Winfred Brown, & Susan Thornhill & Butch Gish. Funeral Service will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel at noon on Saturday, August 13, 2011, with Pastor Rick Poland officiating.
