William "Willie Joe" Hundley

William “Willie Joe” Joseph Hundley, 45, of Franklin County passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Theadore Albert Hundley (Sally Mae Hundley) and William Paul Dillon, Sr. (Ester Walker Dillon); step-son, Michael “Mikey” Arrington; and his niece, Elizabeth Hundley.

Surviving are his fiancé, Jessica Rickmond Arrington; parents, Robert Wayne Hundley and Paulette Dillon Hundley; children Kayla Renee Hundley, Elexia Grace Hundley and fiancé, Levi, Jenna Jade Hundley and William Payton Hundley; brothers, Robert Wayne Hundley, II (LeeAnn), and Matthew Dillon Hundley (Lisa); granddaughter, Emmy Mae Sink; special uncle and aunt, William Paul Dillon Jr. (Mary); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous other family and friends; close friends, Brad Harlow, Ryan Carver and Cory Mett.

“Rest in Peace dad I love you and I’m proud of the person you were becoming we may not have always had the best relationship but, you were trying and that’s how I’ll remember you, you weren’t giving up I appreciate everything you did for me and Emmy Mae the past few weeks I’ll make sure she knows everything you did for us!” Lexie

The family will receive friends Monday, April 3, 2023 from 5 to 7 pm, at Conner Bowman Funeral Home & Crematory, 62 Virginia Mkt Pl Dr, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.  A celebration of Willie Joe’s life will be held at 7:00 pm, following the visitation with Kelvin Edwards officiating.  Burial will be private.
