Winifred Irene Gibbs

Winifred Irene Gibbs, 97, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Friday, July 3, 2020. She was born September 30, 1922 the daughter of the late George A. Woods and Girlie Gay Guilliams Woods. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Ollis Gibbs; brother, Wilton Woods; two sisters, Thelma Haley, Beatrice Mills. Surviving are her two daughters, Martha G. Brown (Shawn), Sherry G. Cameron (Fred); son, Phillip Gibbs (Penny); four grandchildren, Heather Cameron, Samantha Cameron Dutch, Hunter Davis, Rylee Jeffers; four great grandchildren, Aleah Cameron, Logan Cameron, Jensen Davis, Bruce Jeffers; great great grandson, Luca Cameron; brother, Posey Woods; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; three special daughters-in-laws, Mary Louise Gibbs, Ann Gibbs, Irene Gibbs; several nieces and nephews; Patty and Larry Tolar along with her Red Oak Manor Family. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Cooper Family Cemetery with Phillip Gibbs and Pastor Joe Dillon officiating.
