Zachary Stewart Adkins

Zachary Stewart "Zack" Adkins, 33, of Penhook, VA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 19, 2016. Growing up on the Adkins Farm, Zack loved everything outdoors. Hunting, fishing, riding ATVs, and working on the farm. He also loved snowboarding. Zack is survived by his parents, who loved him so much, Stewart and Debra of the home. His beloved sister Ashlee and her children Masen, Tinlee, Everlee and Easton. His maternal grandparents, Aubrey and Betty Wingfield and his paternal grandmother Shelby Adkins, "Granny", all of Penhook. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends who will cherish his memory forever. He was preceded in death by his Papa James "Shorty" Adkins, who was so special to him. We will honor him with a graveside service at the Adkins Family Cemetery on Wednesday, 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Mike Gallimore officiating. Zack was a member of Boones Chapel Church of the Brethren. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorials be made to Boones Chapel c/o Jeremy Adkins, 16405 Snow Creek Road, Penhook, VA 24137.
